Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center seeks a Staff RN-Cardiovascular to provide direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting across the Main OR and Cardiovascular OR. You will coordinate with the surgeon and anesthesiologist while guiding OR staff to ensure safe, high-quality care for diverse age groups.

The role requires a minimum perioperative and CVOR background, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year perioperative experience or on-the-job training.
• One year cardiovascular OR experience required.
• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting.
• Coordinate care with the surgeon and anesthesiologist.
• Direct the OR Technician and other staff while maintaining professional nursing standards.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities and unit meetings.
• On-call rotation is required.
