Job summary

Saint Mary’s Health Network in Reno, NV, seeks a Staff RN - Cardiovascular to deliver perioperative patient care in the Main and Cardiovascular OR. You will coordinate with surgeons and anesthesiologists and guide OR staff to ensure smooth patient flow and high quality care.

Qualified candidates have perioperative or CVOR experience, English communication skills, and an active Nevada RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year perioperative nursing experience or on-the-job training.
• One year cardiovascular OR experience required.
• Must communicate effectively in English (written and spoken).
• Current and valid Nevada RN license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in perioperative settings.
• Coordinate care with surgeons and anesthesiologists during cases.
• Direct OR technicians and other staff to maintain quality patient flow.
• Adhere to hospital policies and participate in performance-improvement activities.
