Job summary

Saint Mary’s Health Network, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Staff RN-Cardiovascular to deliver perioperative nursing care in the Main OR and Cardiovascular OR. The role coordinates with surgeons and anesthesiologists, guiding OR staff while upholding nursing standards and patient safety.

Requirements include 1 year perioperative and 1 year cardiovascular OR experience, English proficiency, and a valid Nevada RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year perioperative experience
• One year cardiovascular OR experience
• Must communicate in English (spoken and written)
• Current and valid Nevada RN License
• BLS (AHA) certification
• ACLS (AHA) certification

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting in Main OR and Cardiovascular OR
• Coordinate care with surgeon and anesthesiologist
• Guide OR Technicians and other personnel while maintaining nursing standards
• Participate in Performance Improvement, unit meetings and in-services
