Job summary

Saint Mary's Health Network in Reno, NV is seeking a Staff RN for the Cardiovascular perioperative unit to deliver high-quality patient care in the Main OR and Cardiovascular OR.

You will collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia, coordinate with OR technicians, adhere to standards, and participate in performance improvement activities while supporting a team dedicated to compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year perioperative experience or on-the-job training at Saint Mary's required.
• One year Cardiovascular OR experience required.
• Must be able to communicate in English (Speak, Write).
• Current and valid Nevada RN License.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting.
• Coordinate care with the surgeon and anesthesiologist.
• Direct and guide the OR Technician and other personnel while maintaining nursing standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure continuity of care and efficient workflow.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities, unit meetings and in-services.
