Job summary

Austin Cardiology Clinic, PLLC is seeking a full-time Cardiovascular Nurse Manager to lead clinical operations for our office-based lab and outpatient cardiology clinic in Austin, Texas. This hands-on leadership/clinical hybrid role will run the medical assistant team and own pre- and post-procedure nursing care for vascular and cardiac procedures.

_reports to Practice Owner; supervises MAs and coordinates with front desk, scheduling, billing, and OBL staff.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas RN license and current BLS/ACLS.
• Minimum 3+ years in acute care, procedural, or cardiology nursing; OBL experience a plus.
• 1+ year in a charge nurse or supervisory role.
• Experience with conscious/moderate sedation and post-procedure recovery.
• Proficiency with EHR and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise medical assistants; coordinate daily operations and workflows.
• Oversee pre-procedure nursing care, anticoagulant/antiplatelet holds, and patient education.
• Manage post-procedure recovery, wound checks, and discharge teaching.
• Triage patient questions via calls and portal messages; escalate urgent issues to physicians.
• Coordinate procedure schedules with front desk, billing, and OBL staff; ensure regulatory compliance.
