Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking an Ambulatory Supervisor for the Heart & Vascular Clinic to lead day-to-day patient care operations and act as a clinical and operational expert on the team.

The role requires mentoring staff, making daily priority decisions, and guiding non-routine issues while participating in performance appraisals and disciplinary actions. This is a full-time, first-shift position with strong leadership expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years recent experience relevant to specific setting required.
• Minimum of two years of experience to include the majority of the following: operate as an expert, mentor staff, set daily priorities, guide staff on escalated issues, participate in performance actions.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience required (one year of education equals one year of experience).
• Strong leadership, planning and organizational skills are required.
• Ability to work independently, be creative, and pay attention to detail.

• Oversee day-to-day patient care operations as a leadership team supervisor.
• Mentor and train staff on technical skills and daily priorities.
• Provide guidance on non-routine issues and participate in performance appraisals and disciplinary actions.
