Wellstar Health System’s Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist I for a part-time, day-shift role. You will train to assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures, while maintaining sterile technique and ensuring patient safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college health-science programs preferred.
• ACLS/BLS certifications required or within specified training period.
• Experience or training in cardiovascular cath/EP procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety standards.
• Prepare and educate patients for procedures; monitor and document vital information.
• Support with cath lab log data entry and recordkeeping.
• Maintain equipment readiness and stock levels; comply with regulatory standards.
