Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Cath Lab Technician for the Kennestone facility. The role is a day-shift, full-time position in the cath lab with a 4 x 10 hour schedule (6:15a-5:45p). Call is required: 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month.

You will perform cardiovascular cath/EP procedures, work with interventional cardiologists, and educate patients on the procedure. Qualifications include an Associate's degree in health sciences or related field (Bachelor's preferred), and experience in cath/EP labs

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in health science or related field required; bachelor's preferred.
• One year of cardiovascular cath/EP lab experience may substitute for formal education.
• RCIS and/or ARRT-CV certifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Must be flexible with hours to meet departmental needs.
• Able to work scheduled and cath lab On-Call hours.
• Works as a team with other cath_EP lab staff to obtain the best possible outcome.
• Enters data in to cath lab log and verifies accuracy and completeness.
• Maintains stock levels and outdates.
