Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience performing invasive cardiovascular procedures or graduate of a CVT program.
• Current License and BLS/ACLS certifications required.
• Knowledge of coronary heart disease and cardiac anatomy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining sterile technique during procedures.
• Educates the patient for procedures.
• Maintains departmental records and compliance with regulations.

Skills

Knowledge of cardiovascular cath or electrophysiology procedures

Ability to react quickly to emergency patient care situations

Knowledge of electrocardiography

Knowledge of hemodynamics

Education

Associates Health Science or Accredited Program Radiologic Science
