The role emphasizes cross-functional teamwork, adherence to safety standards, and timely response to emergencies, with responsibilities across imaging, data documentation, and patient care within cardiovascular services.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular and vascular anatomy.
• Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Knowledge of basic health care concepts and Microsoft Office.
• Must read/write/speak conversational English.
• Able to position patients and manage contrast media and medications.
• Follows radiation safety procedures and interventional imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and operates equipment for cardiovascular procedures and ensures sterilization.
• Produces accurate medical records based on interventions and conditions.
• Trains and supervises new personnel with orientation and education.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement activities.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and safety.
• Maintains secure medical records and communicates with physicians as needed.
• Demonstrates leadership within the cardiovascular team.
• Performs scheduled emergency calls and responds promptly.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures including angio and interventional radiology.
