Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to perform specialized imaging and interventional diagnostics in a fast-paced Cath Lab. You will prepare patients and equipment, operate advanced radiologic systems, and contribute data for interpretation, while ensuring safety and quality in procedures.

The role requires teamwork with nursing staff, adherence to protocols, and ongoing professional development within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Graduation from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology and related experience is preferred.
• CPR and ACLS certification required.
• WA state licensure or eligibility in Radiography/Cardiovascular disciplines.
• ARRT registration and related credentials expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and room for procedures following physician guidance.
• Provide patient care and assist with transfers and positioning.
• Monitor patient status during procedures and communicate changes to the physician.
• Assist physicians during interventions, maintaining sterile technique.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR, hemodynamic systems and RIS.
