Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to perform interventional diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures under physician guidance in the Cath Lab. You will prepare patients, operate radiologic equipment, and collect data for interpretation, maintaining safety and protocol compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology or Cardiovascular Technology.
• CPR/ACLS certification required if stated in the ad.
• Licensure or registration as applicable in WA.

Responsibilities

• Prepares equipment/room to capture appropriate image, per physicians’ direction and in adherence to department protocols.
• Reviews procedure order to determine materials/supplies that will be needed.
• Ensures all equipment and instruments are in proper working condition by inspecting equipment.
• Sets up/stocks the procedure room/procedure trays with all needed supplies and equipment prior to procedure.
• Cleans procedure room post-procedure and manages room turnover.
• Inputs data into the imaging modality systems.

Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology

Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
