Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology with one year of related work experience.
• Graduation from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology with one year of core-level experience, or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) required or in WA.

Responsibilities

• Prepares equipment/room to capture appropriate image per physician direction and protocols.
• Reviews procedure orders to determine materials and supplies needed.
• Ensures equipment and instruments are in proper working condition by inspection.
• Sets up/stocks the procedure room with supplies prior to the procedure.
• Cleans the room post-procedure and facilitates room turnover.
• Inputs data into imaging modality systems.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will be at the forefront of cardiac care, utilizing cutting-edge imaging technology to directly impact life-saving diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Every day, you will expertly perform specialized interventional diagnostic and therapeutic examinations of the heart and blood vessels under physician guidance, meticulously preparing patients, operating advanced radiologic equipment, and contributing critical data for interpretation. You'll ensure the safe, efficient operation of all equipment while maintaining mastery of our latest standards and protocols.

To be successful in this role, you will combine advanced technical proficiency in cardiovascular imaging with a meticulous eye for detail, a commitment to patient safety, and a drive for continuous learning within a dynamic and collaborative Cath Lab team.

• Prepares equipment/room to capture appropriate image, per physicians’ direction and in adherence to department protocols.


• Reviews procedure order to determine materials/supplies that will be needed.


• Ensures all equipment and instruments are in proper working condition by inspecting equipment in accordance with established procedures.


• Sets up/stocks the procedure room/procedure trays with all needed supplies and equipment prior to procedure.


• Cleans procedure room post-procedure, including cleaning of equipment/machinery in accordance with established procedures, to facilitate room turnover.


• Inputs data into the imaging modality systems.

• Other Graduation from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology and One year of work experience in the core level of the job, or any combination of experience or education that would demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of the position, upon hire and
