Qualifications

• Physician's Assistant credentialed from the Texas Medical Board or Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing.
• Licensed Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Authority specializing in Cardiac Critical Care.
• Credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing in Acute Care nursing.

Responsibilities

• Staff the ICU and cross cover the telemetry ward, delivering patient-centered care.
• Provide direct treatment and management of cardiovascular conditions with prescriptive authority or referrals.
• Document care in accordance with nursing and cardiology standards and policies.
• Participate in staff and student education and orientation.
• Other related functions as assigned.
