Responsibilities include patient assessments, order and interpretation of studies, direct treatment, documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Start date is immediate; average 40-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant credentialed from Texas Medical Board or Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from Texas Board of Nursing.
• Licensed Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Authority specializing in Cardiac Critical Care.
• Credentialed from Texas Board of Nursing in Acute Care Nursing.

• Assist in cardiovascular operating room, obtain patient history, perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostic studies, perform health assessments, screening and patient care.
• Provide direct treatment and management of adult cardiovascular and thoracic conditions via prescriptive authority or referral, counsel and educate patients and families.
• Document health care delivery and nursing processes according to specialty area standards and network nursing policy.
• Participate in orientation and education of staff and students.
• Perform related functions as assigned.

Salary Range

$125,000+ depending on qualifications
