Ultipro is seeking a part-time Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Osceola, IA. The role performs echo and vascular ultrasound with high-quality imaging and patient interaction. You will assist physicians and manage equipment and records, while coordinating procedures across departments.

Qualified candidates have an AMA-approved program in diagnostic medical sonography and ARDMS credentials (RDCS/RVT). Prior ultrasound experience is preferred, with strong attention to detail and safety as core

Formación

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• RDCS and RVT certification by ARDMS required.
• Medical Sonography experience.

Responsabilidades

• Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic echocardiography and/or vascular ultrasound.
• Ensures high-quality images and independent judgment of examinations.
• Coordinates and administers Definity contrast when needed.
• Assists physicians in interpretation of exam results.
• Maintains ultrasound equipment, logs, and records.
• Explains procedures to patients and families clearly.
• Ensures safety and proper patient handling during exams.
• Maintains PACS, RIS, and EMR proficiency.
• Performs related duties such as EKGs and turnover of patients.
