Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Edina, MN is seeking a Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to join Fairview Southdale Hospital. This .8 FTE position runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with on-call weeknights and weekends to support cath lab and EP procedures.

As part of the radiology team you will assist radiologists, maintain equipment and inventory, and help train staff to ensure patient flow and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Associate of Arts in Radiologic Technologist program.
• 5+ years experience in Cath Lab & EP Lab.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (RT) and ARRT registration.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.
• Performs diagnostic, vascular, or other related procedures to aid in diagnosis determination.
• Assists Radiologist and/or staff physician in special procedure performance to expedite patient flow.
• Maintains supply inventory to ensure availability of required items.
• Assists in maintenance of equipment to ensure proper function and availability.
• Trains alternate staff to provide adequate staffing.
• Coordinates coverage for special procedures and after-hours services.
• Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards.

Education

Associate of Arts from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

BLS Certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)

Certified Radiologic Technologist (RT)

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Job Overview

Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a Cardiovascular (CV) Radiologic Technologist to join our team at our Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN! This is a .8 FTE (64 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work Monday through Friday from 8:00AM - 4:30PM and will include an on-call schedule on the weeknights and weekends.

Responsibilities
