Qualifications

• Experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery preferred.
• Licensure: PA license or MD/DO with appropriate credentials.
• Minimum 2 years of PA/SA/House Physician experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient positioning and transfer pre/post-operatively.
• Maintain licensure and BCLS certification; ensure patient safety.
• Assist in catheter/line insertion and draping; uphold sterile technique.
• Operate with the surgeon to expose surgical fields and manage tissues.
• Maintain sterile field and proper instrument handling; pass sharps safely.
