Job summary

Atrium Health Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute in Charlotte, NC is seeking an advanced practice provider for an OR-only Cardiothoracic surgery role. The APP will function independently in the hospital and operating room, collaborating with a supervising physician and interprofessional team.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years CTS experience with EVH proficiency, possess NP or PA credentials, and hold NC licensure with prescriptive privileges. A $90,000 sign-on bonus is available in four installments.

Qualifications

• Requires NP or PA licensure in NC/SC, prescriptive privileges and DEA license.
• BLS and ACLS for Healthcare Providers required with expiration >90 days.
• Cardiothoracic surgery experience including cardiac first-assist.
• Experience with EVH preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-assist in a wide range of cardiac surgical procedures.
• Demonstrate independent proficiency in EVH; arterial harvesting when applicable.
• Coordinate with supervising physician and multidisciplinary team to deliver patient care.
• Work in OR and inpatient hospital settings with appropriate autonomy.
