JPS Health Network is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider in Cardiothoracic Surgery in Fort Worth, TX. The APP will collaborate with Cardiothoracic Surgeons, provide first-assist in the OR, and deliver primary care for cardiothoracic patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Requirements include a graduate of a Physician Assistant program or AGACNP with RNFA, 2+ years in cardiothoracic surgery, Texas license, BLS/ACLS, and ongoing credentialing.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program or AGACNP with RNFA certification.
• 2+ years of cardiothoracic surgery OR experience as APP with first assist in OR.
• Current unrestricted Texas licensure; BLS and ACLS certifications; orientation within 60 days.

Aufgaben

• Collaborates with Cardiothoracic Surgeons to coordinate care across inpatients and outpatients.
• Provides operating room coverage as first assist and assist in vein/hardware harvest.
• Performs ICU and floor rounding, patient consults, and postoperative follow-ups.
• Delivers primary care to cardiothoracic patients including evaluation and treatment planning.
• Maintains credentials and adheres to JPS Health Network and Acclaim Health guidelines.
• Participates in cardiothoracic call schedule and quality improvement meetings.
