JPS Health Network in Fort Worth, TX seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Cardiothoracic Surgery (PRN) to provide expert care, in collaboration with Cardiothoracic Surgeons. In this role, you offer first assist in the OR and deliver direct primary care in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Qualifications include graduate from an accredited PA program or AGACNP with RNFA, 2+ years CT surgery APP experience, Texas license, BLS/ACLS, and willingness to participate in on-demand call.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program or AGACNP with RNFA.
• 2+ years of cardiothoracic surgery OR experience as an APP with first assist.
• Current unrestricted Texas license; BLS and ACLS within 60 days; orientation within 90 days.
• 5+ years CT surgery OR experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Collaborates with Cardiothoracic Surgeons to coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Provides operating room coverage including first assist and vessel harvest.
• Performs ICU and floor rounding, consults, and discharges.
• Delivers preoperative and postoperative clinic coverage.
• Maintains licensure and credentialing; adheres to guidelines.
• Participates in CT surgery call schedule on an as needed basis.
