Qualifications

• MD (or foreign equivalent) with completion of an accredited General Surgery residency.
• Fellowship training in Breast Surgery or Surgical Oncology with a focus on breast disease.
• Board-certified in General Surgery.
• Eligible for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor at RSOM.
• Demonstrated clinical excellence across the spectrum of breast disease.
• Proven leadership experience in an academic or complex healthcare environment.
• Strong record of academic achievement, including teaching, mentorship, and scholarship.
• Experience in program development and multidisciplinary collaboration is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and expand a high-performing breast surgery division encompassing the full continuum of benign and malignant breast disease.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary partners to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care and improve quality and access.
• Develop and execute a strategic vision, oversee faculty recruitment, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Lead education and mentorship of residents, fellows, and medical students, and develop breast surgery training programs.
• Promote clinical, translational, and outcomes-based research and participate in clinical trials.
