Job summary

Henry Ford Health System is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join the Cardiothoracic Surgery team at Henry Ford Macomb. This role focuses on the perioperative management of cardiac and thoracic surgery patients, including pre-, intra-, and post-operative care, surgical first assist responsibilities, patient rounding, evaluations, and postoperative treatment planning.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Cardiothoracic experience as an APP required.
• PA graduate from an accredited program.
• Current Michigan licensure or in-process.
• National certification (NCCPA) required.
• BLS required; ACLS required (or obtained after hire).

Responsibilities

• Perioperative management of cardiac and thoracic surgery patients (pre-, intra-, and post-operative care).
• Surgical first assist responsibilities and patient rounding.
• Postoperative treatment planning and evaluations.
