Advocate Health in Wisconsin seeks a Surgical Technologist II to support a specialized operating room team. You will set up and operate instrument tables according to surgeon specifications, maintain sterile fields, and assist in complex procedures.

You will also supervise Surgical Technologists I, participate in call coverage, and ensure infection control and patient safety throughout the surgical process.

Qualifications

• Completed accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Current OR experience required.
• BLS within 6 months unless exempted.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and multiple procedures.

Responsabilités

• Specializes in a surgical specialty area and assists with complex cases.
• Sets up and operates equipment per physician specifications; maintains sterile field.
• Precepts Surgical Technologists I and supports staff training.
• Maintains infection control and a safe, efficient OR environment.
• Assists with patient positioning and transporting as needed.
• Keeps equipment functioning and reports issues promptly.
