Atrium Health Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute – Charlotte is seeking a Full-Time Adult Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join a large, collegial team in Charlotte, NC. The role emphasizes autonomous practice with strong surgeon support and diverse cardiothoracic cases.

You will work daytime rotating four 10-hour shifts with weekend coverage, no OR responsibilities, and travel may be required. NC licensure, prescriptive privileges, and NCCPA/ACNP certification are required.

Competenze

• Graduated from an accredited NP or PA program and maintain current NC license.
• Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license required.
• CNPA/NCCPA certification required depending on role.

Mansioni

• Coordinate, provide, and assist in comprehensive cardiothoracic patient care with supervising physician.
• Perform assessments, diagnoses, treatments, education, referrals, and consultations.
• Maintain clinical competency for age-appropriate patient care.
• Work independently with strong decision-making and clear communication with MDs, APPs, and staff.
• Rotate four 10-hour shifts with weekend coverage; no OR duties or on-call.
• Possible travel to other sites as needed.
