Job summary

Orlando Health ORMC Cardiothoracic Surgery in downtown Orlando is looking for a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or PA). The role supports the CVOR team as a physician-extender, with first assist experience and the ability to perform on-site vascular harvests and perioperative care.

You will participate in daily rounds, operate with a high degree of independence, and be on-site within 30 minutes during on-call periods.

Qualifications

• Two years EVH experience
• ACLS/BLS certification required
• FL APRN or PA licensure required

Responsibilities

• Assist CVOR staff as physician-extender
• Independent saphenous vein harvesting (EVH) experience preferred
• Participate in daily rounds with physicians and students
• Maintain on-site availability within 30 minutes during on-call periods
• Perform perioperative orders and write progress notes
• Provide care for patients undergoing cardiac surgery and transfers to CVICU
