Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is hiring a Specialized Coder for an on-site role at Tower - Reading Hospital in West Reading, PA. You will review physician charges, code encounters accurately, and support education for the coding team.

Must have 3+ years of coding experience with expert knowledge in Cardiology, Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery or Vascular Surgery coding. EPIC experience and strong communication are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of coding experience.
• Extensive knowledge in Cardiology, Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery or Vascular Surgery coding.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS; EPIC experience.
• Able to mentor coders and educate providers.

Responsibilities

• Code claims from medical records per coding guidelines.
• Complete work queues accurately and timely.
• Identify trends in charge review and assist leadership.
• Support provider education and training of coders.
