Job summary

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia is seeking a full-time Electrophysiology Coder (CPC) to code EP studies, device services, and EP clinic visits at our Philadelphia, PA location. You will assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes, review provider documentation, and ensure compliance with payer requirements.

The role requires CPC certification, cardiology coding experience, and strong attention to detail. Knowledge of GPMS and athenaOne is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active CPC certification through AAPC or equivalent is required and active.
• Three years of professional medical coding experience in cardiology or a subspecialty.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and payer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Code EP procedures, device services, and EP clinic visits with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS.
• Review documentation and ensure coding aligns with guidelines and payer rules.
• Identify and resolve coding errors, denials, and unbilled charges.
• Query providers as needed and support education to maintain compliance.
• Support claims review, denial management, and productivity goals.
