UChicago Medicine in Hyde Park (Chicago) is seeking a Staff Nurse for the 4C Cardiology/Observation unit. This 0.9 FTE, fully onsite role requires working nights (7PM–7:30AM) with responsibilities across patient assessment, planning, and care delivery within a fast-paced Cardiology setting.

Qualificações

• Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Current Illinois RN license is required.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsabilidades

• Utilizes assessment skills to determine patient needs and plan care.
• Develops plans of care or collaborates with Case Manager as needed.
• Assumes charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.
• Provides peer support, acts as a resource, and works in a team.
• Contributes to goals and objectives of the Care Center.
• Uses clinical pathways and plans of care with standards of practice.
• Pursues professional growth and attends continuing education.
• Participates in program evaluation activities.
