Job summary

Duke Health Cary is seeking a Clinical Nurse II to join the Cardiology team on-site. You will provide direct and indirect patient care, perform nursing procedures, and support the clinic’s educational and operational needs.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, NC RN licensure with BLS, and ACLS within six months of hire. Day shifts, no weekends, and strong patient-family education are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN or ADN program.
• Current RN licensure in North Carolina; BLS required.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Take patient intake and obtain vital signs.
• Administer vaccines/medications per protocols and assist with procedures.
• Document in EHR and NCIR.
• Serve as charge nurse on shift as oriented.
• Provide patient and family education.
