Job summary

You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality nursing care. The ideal candidate has an active RN license, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of cardiology-related experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or a temporary/interim RN license.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in Cardiology, PCU, and/or PACU is preferred and reflected in the resume.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and discharge planning; review patient history and labs and communicate with the physician and care team.
• Develop and implement a plan of care with input from patient, family, and multidisciplinary team.
• Provide direct patient care per physician orders, supervise other staff, and ensure adherence to policies and standards.
• Evaluate patient responses to care and adjust the care plan as needed in collaboration with the care team.
• Document care activities and patient progress in the medical record with timely and accurate reporting.
• Contribute to quality improvement and participate in education and mentoring as appropriate.
