Job summary

Banner Health in Tucson, AZ is seeking a full-time RN for the Cardiac Diagnostic department. You will work with cardiology fellows and attending physicians to perform transesophageal echocardiograms and stress tests, with a path toward growth in cardiovascular RN care.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of Cardiac Diagnostic or RN Procedural experience, BLS is required, ACLS is preferred, and live within 30 minutes of the facility for call.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years of Cardiac Diagnostic or RN Procedural experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate a plan of care including discharge planning with input from patient, family and health team.
• Implement the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination and supervision of the health care team.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plan as needed in collaboration with the team.
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record.
