Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care, part of UNC Health, seeks a Manager of Physician Practice Operations to direct and oversee the clinics’ professional and support staff, ensuring efficient daily operations and adherence to budget and quality programs.

The role requires experience in private practice/clinical settings, supervisory skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, ICD9/CPT coding, and accounting basics.

Qualifications

• Active driver's license and access to transportation.
• Five years of experience in private practice and/or clinical office setting.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience or training with ICD9 and CPT coding.
• Experience or training with basic accounting principles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefers Bachelor's degree and CMPE certification.

Responsibilities

• Manages the staff and business operations of physician and/or clinical practices.
• Delegates responsibility and authority to subordinates and oversees performance.
• Maintains daily operations within current budgeted operating expenses.
• Supervises monthly revenue and patient activity reports for physician meetings.
• Develops and implements clinic policies and procedures in coordination with leadership.
• Reviews metrics related to QI, Safety, Infection Control, and Risk Management.
