Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a part-time Patient Services Associate II to support Cardiology outpatient offices in Lansdale and East Norriton. You will process arrivals/departures, verify demographics, and manage pre-certifications for procedures, focusing on delivering the Jefferson Experience with courteous interactions.

The role requires accurate data handling, strong communication with patients, and the ability to multi-task while maintaining a high standard of service and efficiency.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must communicate courteously with patients/visitors and support a positive Jefferson Experience.
• Ability to process and interpret data and manage multiple tasks in a time-sensitive workload.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors professionally.
• Check in/check out and schedule appointments via EPIC.
• Obtain pre-certifications and/or pre-authorizations for procedures.
• Ensure smooth patient flow and escalate concerns as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and security compliance.
• Adhere to all regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
