Job summary

Advocate Medical Group is seeking a Patient Service Representative to support providers and patients in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. Responsibilities include scheduling, registration, coding and billing while maintaining compassionate, high-quality service.

Work is typically Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, with no weekends or major holidays. Prior customer service experience and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One to two years related customer service experience.
• Experience handling difficult caller/customers/patients.

Responsibilities

• Patient Services: provides efficient, high-quality service to patients arriving for appointments or calling for information.
• Billing Services: ensures entry of billing information at time of service and follows up on missing data.
• Medical Record Services: maintains accurate and timely medical records.
• Support the care team in ambulatory operations and patient flow.
