Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide direct patient care in outpatient and inpatient cardiology settings. This per diem weekend role collaborates with physicians to deliver high-quality care across Hartford HealthCare's Heart & Vascular Institute.

Candidates should be an Acute Care NP or PA with CT APRN licensure, board certification, and 3+ years of clinical experience, preferably in cardiology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Master’s program.
• Licensed to practice as an APRN in Connecticut.
• Board certification through AACN or ANCC as an APRN.
• 3+ years of clinical experience, with cardiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in outpatient and inpatient settings in collaboration with physicians.
• Prescribe, dispense and administer therapeutic measures per scope of practice.
• Collaborate with the cardiology team to support a rapidly growing institute.
