Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group seeks an APRN/PA to partner with Cardiologists. The role includes inpatient and outpatient complex consultations for invasive cardiology procedures, with pre- and post-care for subspecialty patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Master’s program preferred.
• Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant / APRN in Connecticut.
• Certification or eligible to be certified as a PA/APRN.
• Cardiology experience preferred.
• APRN/PA experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-care for invasive cardiology procedures for inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Engage in independent decision making and manage procedure-related issues.
• Collaborate with consultants and the patient care team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
