CHI Health Cardiovascular Institute in Lincoln, Nebraska, seeks a Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) for night shifts providing overnight inpatient cardiology coverage with clinical autonomy and support from an on-call cardiologist.

You will respond to cardiology consultations, assist with STEMI admissions, coordinate admissions and transfers, and document care in Epic while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care.

Qualificações

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited NP/PA program.
• Certification by a nationally recognized certification organization.
• Active or eligible Nebraska and Iowa license.
• Nebraska and Iowa DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing high quality, compassionate care.

Responsabilidades

• Provide overnight inpatient cardiology coverage within the hospital setting.
• Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff, responding to questions and patient care needs.
• Respond to incoming cardiology consultation requests and facilitate appropriate patient evaluation and management.
• Assist with the admission process and coordination of care for patients presenting with STEMIs.
• Evaluate and assist with the management of patients presenting to the hospital, including walk-in patients requiring cardiology evaluation.
• Coordinate inpatient admissions, transfers, and communication between referring providers, hospital teams, and cardiologists.
