Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Clinical: obtain health history, perform physicals, interpret tests, develop treatment plans and follow-up.
• Education: educate patients/families on condition, treatment, and follow-up.
• Leadership: precept and train physicians, housestaff, nursing and students; participate in rounds and meetings.
• Professional: communicate respectfully with patients and team; ensure timely care and documentation.
• Quality/Research: engage in continuous quality improvement and develop clinical programs.
