Job summary

Allina Health Minneapolis Heart Institute seeks a Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider to join our cardiology team at the Shakopee and Edina clinics. You will work closely with physicians to manage patients in a fast-paced outpatient setting, delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.

Typical shifts are 10 hours, four days a week, with no weekend or on-call rotation. Strong cardiology experience is preferred and opportunities for professional growth are available.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Active MN & WI NP/PA license (or ability to obtain).
• BLS certification within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Completes comprehensive patient assessments.
• Determines diagnosis and treatment of illness.
• Orders and interprets diagnostics with attending physician.
• Prescribes medications, treatments, therapy and medical equipment.
• Conducts patient education for chronic illness or wellness care.
