Job summary

Mass General Brigham Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support cardiology across multiple NH locations. The role covers clinical and administrative tasks, patient rooming, vital signs, EKGs, EHR documentation, and care coordination.

Shifts typically run 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:30am-5:00pm, with a 16-hour weekly commitment. Prior outpatient experience and CMA certification are preferred. Onsite at 67 Corporate Drive in NH, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• 1-2 years of Medical Assistant or clinical/medical office experience required; fast-paced outpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare exam rooms in a cardiology outpatient setting
• Obtain vital signs, EKGs, complete a medication reconciliation, and document accurately in the EHR
• Support medication refills and care coordination
• Assist with clinic flow and provider support
• Participate in clinical huddles and flexible provider assignments
• Recognize changes in patient condition and elevate appropriately
• Support patient education and care coordination
