Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital's Mass General Brigham Heart and Vascular Institute seeks a full-time Medical Assistant for the Dover, NH cardiology practice (19 Old Rollinsford Road). The role supports providers with patient rooming, vital signs, EKGs, and care coordination in a high-volume outpatient setting.

You will work Monday–Friday with rotating shifts (7:30am-4:00pm or 8:30am-5:00pm), with potential float to Somersworth or Portsmouth based on needs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate's degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
1-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical/medical office setting required.
Experience in a fast-paced outpatient or specialty clinic is strongly preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or equivalent national certification) preferred.

Responsibilities

Room patients and prepare exam rooms in a fast-paced cardiology setting.
Obtain vital signs, EKGs, complete a medication reconciliation, and document accurately in the EHR.
Support medication refills and patient follow-up coordination.
Assist with high-volume clinic flow and provider support.
Participate in clinical huddles and flexible provider assignments.
Recognize clinical changes and elevate appropriately.
Support patient education and care coordination.
