Mass General Brigham Heart and Vascular Institute seeks a part-time Medical Assistant to support a cardiology service line across Dover, Somersworth, and Portsmouth, NH. The role is 16 hours weekly in two 8-hour shifts, with duties spanning clinical and administrative tasks.

Shifts are typically 7:30am–4:00pm or 8:30am–5:00pm, depending on location. A fast-paced outpatient environment and teamwork are essential to success.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CMA or equivalent national certification preferred
• 1–2 years of Medical Assistant or clinical/medical office experience required
• Experience in a fast-paced outpatient or specialty setting strongly preferred

Responsabilidades

• Room patients and prepare exam rooms in a cardiology outpatient setting
• Obtain vital signs and EKG; document accurately in the EHR
• Support medication refills and care coordination
• Assist with clinic flow and provider support
• Participate in clinical huddles and flexible provider assignments
• Recognize changes in patient condition and escalate appropriately
• Support patient education and care coordination
