Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• 1–2 years of Medical Assistant or clinical/medical office experience required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare exam rooms in a cardiology outpatient setting.
• Obtain vital signs, EKGs, complete a medication reconciliation, and document accurately in the EHR.
• Support medication refills and care coordination.
• Assist with clinic flow and provider support.
• Participate in clinical huddles and flexible provider assignments.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and elevate appropriately.
• Support patient education and care coordination.
