Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Diploma from a Medical Assistant Program.
• Minimum of 1 year of medical assisting experience.
• Preference: Medical Assistant Certification.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, measure and record vital signs.
• Complete patient interview and history.
• Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures.
• Assist in examinations and procedures as ordered by physician.
• Set up equipment and rooms for patients.
• Collect samples (blood, urine, sputum) and perform routine tests.
