Hugh Chatham Health, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant in the Cardiology: Electrophysiology department in Concord, NC. This full-time role supports patient care with vital signs, history taking, medication reconciliation, and lab tasks, including POCT, under physician supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting procedures, administering meds/vaccines, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with CLIA standards. Candidates should have MA training and strong teamwork skills.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent military medical training is preferred.
• Knowledge of venipuncture, vital signs, medication reconciliation, and patient health history.

Responsabilidades

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and follows policies and procedures.
• Performs rooming tasks: vital signs, history, meds reconciliation, screenings.
• Assists provider with procedures and laboratory duties including venipuncture and specimen handling.
• Performs CLIA-waived tests and enters results in the medical record.
• Administers medications and vaccines per medication orders.
• Handles referrals, scheduling, and patient communications; maintains a clean, stocked workspace.
