271 Atrium Health Specialty Network, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant in Concord, NC for a full-time position in the Cardiology: Electrophysiology area. The role includes clinic duties such as vital signs, history taking, medication reconciliation, and assisting providers with procedures.

The position offers a 40-hour work week, a sign-on bonus eligibility, and comprehensive benefits. Requires an MA program completion or equivalent experience and current BLS certification per division

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or may have completed structured military training which is clinical in nature or EMT.
• Wake Forest: High School Diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 2 years verifiable full-time MA experience in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Medical Assistant scope of practice and department policies.
• Perform rooming tasks: vital signs, history, screening, and health maintenance.
• Assist provider with procedures and lab duties including venipuncture and specimen handling.
• Administer medications and vaccines per rights; manage refills and scheduling.
• Cross-train for duties across specialty areas; maintain clean, stocked work areas.
