Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a supervisor to lead the heart rhythm lab operations at our Rochester, Minnesota campus. You will supervise the clinical staff, oversee surveillance and interpretation of ECGs, and ensure integration of lab services with Mayo Clinic's core patient-care activities.

Responsibilities include leadership of day-to-day work, coordination with vendors, and ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree with one year health related/clinical experience or a high school diploma and five years' health related/clinical experience.
• Must have demonstrated leadership, communication, problem solving and organizational skills. Must be able to multi-task efficiently and work independently. Master’s degree preferred.
• Licensure or Certification: Basic Life Support certification is required; Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician certification is required within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of the work unit operations.
• Oversee the technical staff's functions within the lab.
• Includes surveillance, analysis and interpretation of patient's heart rhythm patterns and physiological parameters.
• Represent the department at organizational/vendor meetings and integrate services into the organization’s primary functions.
