Idaho Falls Community Hospital is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to join our team. You will assist patients with needs and procedural preparation and recovery before and after interventional cardiology and radiology procedures.
Under the supervision of the pre/post procedure RN, you will provide basic nursing care, monitor telemetry patients, document details in Cerner EHR, and communicate changes to the team. Prior CNA/Monitor Tech experience preferred and BLS is required.

Assists patients with needs and procedural preparation and recovery before and after interventional cardiology and radiology procedures. Provides basic nursing care to patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the pre/post procedure registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Maintains open communication with patients, visitors, and interdisciplinary team members. Provides monitoring of telemetry patients and communicates abnormalities to appropriate supervising staff. If phlebotomy certified, may assist with lab draws.

Education/Certification: High school graduate or equivalent. Successful completion of a certified nursing assistant program. Current unencumbered CNA certification. Current BLS. Basic dysrhythmia course or certified telemetry course to be completed within 6 weeks of hire.
Prior CNA/Monitor Tech experience preferred.
