Opportunity Details

• Full‑time Non‑Invasive Cardiologist opportunity within a growing, hospital‑based academic practice
• Provide inpatient consultations and outpatient cardiology care in a collaborative team environment
• Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests
• Perform exercise echocardiograms and participate in advanced cardiac imaging
• Teach and mentor medical residents and Columbia University medical students
• Academic appointment at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons at the Assistant Professor level

Wages and Benefits

Annual Base Salary: $322,000* (Board Eligible) $332,000* (Board Certified) based on 40‑hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $449,720** (Board Eligible) $460,720** (Board Certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
• Projected bonus up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution – employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% contribution.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
• Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
• , Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top‑tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
